Before going to Austria he was responsible during five years within the freight department of the Swiss railways (SBB Cargo) for the combined traffic, the automotive business and the partner management. In this time he had the opportunity to practice liberalization and to experience so called coopetition. He has an international background, speaks fluently five languages and studied law in Germany, France and England. 10 years in different logistics and forwarding companies in Europe gave him a solid logistics background and enabled him understanding, organizing and implementing logistic processes, meeting the real needs of the market. From 2009 to 2013 he was director for multimodal logistics within the GEFCO group, responsible for the development of multimodal business all over Europe, with a strong focus on Eastern Europe, Russia and Central Asia. Since 1 January 2014, Mr. Ralf-Charley Schultze is President of the UIRR, the international union for road-rail combined transport in Brussels.

Henri Poupart-Lafarge is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Alstom Group since February 1st 2016. Mr Henri Poupart-Lafarge joined Alstom in 1998, as Head of Investor relations and responsible for management control. In 2000, he became the Transmission and Distribution Sector’s Senior Vice President Finance, a position he held until the sale of the Sector in 2004. From 2004 to 2010, he was Chief Financial Officer of the Alstom Group, from 2010 to 2011 President of the Alstom Grid Sector, and President of the Transport since 4 July 2011. He became Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the board of Alstom in February 2016.

Philippe Pegorier is President of the Russian filial of Alstom, the French global leader in rolling stock and equipment for rail transportation, from January 2011.
After he graduated from KEDGE (Bordeaux business school) in 1983, he started his professional career in Moscow 35 years ago and then served in the French Ministry of Economy and Finance alternatively in Paris, Tehran, Kiev and Moscow.
In particular, Philippe worked several years as Diplomatic Advisor to Christine Lagarde, who was then the French Minister for Trade. Philippe speaks fluently French, English and Russian.
He is a member of the Association of European Businesses and of the Chairman of the AEB Machine Building and Engineering Committee from 2012. He also represents in Russia Medef International, the French business confederation, from January 2018.
