Sebastian Stern is a senior partner in McKinsey & Company's Hamburg office and leads McKinsey's Public Sector Practice in Germany. He is also responsible for the McKinsey Implementation in Germany, supporting public and private sector clients in the implementation and change management of jointly developed strategies. He has significant experience in supporting the public sector, infrastructure and transportation clients, focused on strategic questions (e.g. growth strategies, market entry strategies) and service operations (e.g. lean operations).

Sebastian holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of California, Los Angeles, USA, and a Ph.D. in organization of growth companies from the Wissenschaftliche Hochschule für Unternehmensführung, Koblenz.

Yermolai leads McKinsey’s Metals & Mining Practice in Africa, CIS, Europe, and the Middle East, coleads our global energy and materials work, and is a member of the global Travel, Transport & Logistics Practice. He takes an active part in international projects to develop new approaches to operational improvements for companies in the raw-materials sector.

Yermolai has wide experience in the development of strategy, in operations and sales improvements, and in organizational and governance transformations for companies in the metal, oil and gas, aircraft, and transportation sectors. He takes an active part in projects to develop municipal and regional infrastructure.

Before joining McKinsey, Yermolai spent several years working in China and Taiwan, and later served as a consultant at the World Bank in Washington, DC.

Born in 1978. Graduated from Saratov’s State Socio-Economic University, Finance and Credit faculty in 2000. Received PhD in economics in 2003 with the thesis on development of institutional investments. Got MBA degree in 2012 from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, Dublin, Ireland. 

Started his career path in investments business working with a bank and further on as a head of an assets management company on the Russian stock market. Got an experience at the Russian Trade Chamber with the department of investments sustainability and support focused on innovation and infrastructure projects.

Since 2014 he is deputy CEO for economics and finance with Railway Research Institute (VNIIZHT) – Russian Railways subsidiary company, coordinating budgeting, finance planning, supply and asset management.

This year in collaboration with the Center for Innovations Development of the Russian Railways he, on behalf of VNIIZHT, organizes the first corporate acceleration programme for start-ups for the Russian Railways.

Henri Poupart-Lafarge, is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique, Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He started his career in 1992 at the World Bank in Washington, D.C., before joining the French Ministry of Economy and Finance in 1994.

Henri Poupart-Lafarge is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Alstom Group since February 1^st 2016. Mr Henri Poupart-Lafarge joined Alstom in 1998, as Head of Investor relations and responsible for management control. In 2000, he became the Transmission and Distribution Sector’s Senior Vice President Finance, a position he held until the sale of the Sector in 2004. From 2004 to 2010, he was Chief Financial Officer of the Alstom Group, from 2010 to 2011 President of the Alstom Grid Sector, and President of the Transport since 4 July 2011. He became Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the board of Alstom in February 2016.

In February 2012, he was appointed First Deputy Head of the Technical Audit Centre - a structural unit of JSC "RZD".

Oleg Senkovsky is in charge for enhancement of the production management systems of enterprises supplying products for JSC "RZD" on the basis of a specially implemented quality policy, in particular, by implementing ISO/TS 22163 standard.

Mr. Senkovsky takes an active part in the activities of the following councils:

• Expert council on development of transport machine building under the Committee of the State Duma (Lower House of Russian Federation Parliament) on economic policy, industry, innovative development and entrepreneurship;

Dr. Stefan Siegler is heading the functions Quality, EHS and Project Management Excellence in Siemens Mobility and is Chairman of the International Rail Quality Board IRQB. Earlier he was managing director of a company in the Aerospace industry. Dr. Stefan Siegler obtained his PhD in mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen.

Thibault Desteract is Chief Development Officer at TMH International since 1^st January 2018. He coordinates the global commercial activities of TMH ventures in Africa, Latin America, Central Europe, CIS and Middle East.

Thibault joined TMH Group in Russia in January 2017 as Vice President for International Development and Managing Director of Transmash East Train Trading Company.

Previously, Thibault worked 20 years at Alstom, where he held senior management positions.

Thibault started his career in the French diplomacy where he served as Trade Commissioner successively in Kuwait, Egypt and Chile.

Has extensive expertise of technological processes, metrological support, maintenance and repair of rolling stock at all stages of operation. 
Began his career in the railway car-repair yard. In 2006, made a career from an engineer to the general director of the Scientific Research Institute of Technology, Control, and Diagnostics of Railway Transport ("NIITKD"). Since 2014, has been a member of the Board of Directors of NIITKD JSC. 
Graduated from Omsk State Transport University. Candidate of Technical Sciences in Rolling stock of railways, traction, and electrification.

Salimzhan has Ph.D., he is the Head of the Laboratory of Autonomous Transport Systems of Innopolis University. He conducts research in the field of process and methods of mobile robots navigation, perception and recognition of environmental objects, localization and system dynamics. Research interests: navigation in non-deterministic space, mathematical methods of analysis.

Was born in Moscow in 1964.After graduating cum laude from the MIIT, he joined the VNIIZhT. He has gradually rose from a trainee researcher to the senior deputy general director.From 2004 to 2007 he worked as a director of VNIIAS.

Currently – first deputy general director of VNIIZhT, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor.

The purveyor and developer of predictive analytics solutions for industrial equipment: a data mining platform, predictive models and an intelligent risk-oriented management system. Is an expert in the field of digital industry transformation using artificial intelligence technologies. In 2016, he founded and ran the Clover Group to become the company's chairman of the board in 2019.

From 2007 to 2016, he was CEO of Elektrotyazhmash-Drive (Lysven Heavy Electrical Engineering Plant “Drive”) and UK “Baranchinsky Electromechanical Plant - Drive Equipment and Technologies”.

Mr Davenne graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications d’Evry in 1988 and from the Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA) in 1999.
Throughout his career, he has consistently promoted interdisciplinary as a key factor for success. Having gained experience in international satellite telecommunications, he initially held various roles in the housing sector, making use of his strong financial and legal skills. He was involved in policy and regulation of the sector and managed key operational programmes, most notably for the city of Paris. After three years with the French Ministry of Transport, working on railway safety and regulation, with an emphasis on European regulations, he was elected in 2012 as Secretary General of OTIF, the Intergovernmental Organisation for International Carriage by Rail. From early 2013 to the end of 2018, he promoted interdisciplinary and partnership building in order to expand and develop the uniform regulations for international carriage by rail. Since July 1, 2019 François Davenne became Director General of UIC.

Graduated from Saint Petersburg State University of Economics, specialty: «National economic planning», PhD in Economics.

Over the years, he entered and headed the Boards of Directors of various banks, was an adviser to the Minister of Railways of the Russian Federation, and he was a member of various expert and analytical groups in St. Petersburg and Moscow. He supervised the implementation of scientific and consulting work on the orders of government agencies, international companies and Russian holdings.

Has over 15 years of experience in the railway industry, including participation and leadership in the development, design and implementation of modern signaling and train traffic control systems for metro and mainline railways.

2010-2017 worked in key business development positions in a Russian joint venture, and later at the head office of Bombardier Transportation Sweden - division of Bombardier Corporation in the field of rail traffic control systems.

Since 2018 - First Deputy General Manager in LocoTech-Signal LLC (Group of Companies Ctrl2GO). Company specializes on rail traffic control digitalization.

He graduated with honors from Moscow State University of Railway Engineering (MIIT) with a Master's degree in Signaling Systems for railway transport, specializing in microelectronic systems for ensuring train traffic safety. In 2009 obtained an additional education and got Master's degree in Financial Management.

Alberto Grisone was born in 1970. He graduated from the Law Faculty of the State University of Milan in 1996. In 1998, he became the account manager at Hupak Intermodal LTD. In November 2011, he was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Intermodal Express. In 2017, he was appointed Development Director in Russia, the CIS and the Middle East. In April 2018, he was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Intermodal Express LLC (Moscow), a member of the Hupac group of companies. He is a member of the Working Group of the Coordination Council on Trans-Siberian Transportation to increase the competitiveness of the Trans-Siberian route.
